abstract |
Use of a polymeric material comprising i) a polymeric matrix; (ii) an inorganic component dispersed within said matrix and characterized by a laminar structure with a neutralized positive or negative net charge that can intercalate an active principle within said laminar structure (iii), said active principle establishing an ionic-type bond with the inorganic component, the combination of the inorganic component (ii) and the active principle (iii) constituting an intercalation compound and said inorganic component consisting of synthetic hydrotalcites of the Mg-Al or Zn-Al type with a molar ratio Mg (Zn) / Al that varies from 1.5 to 4 and with an anion exchange capacity that varies from 2 to 5 mequiv./g in the food packaging sector, specifically in active food packaging. |
