abstract | A spray delivery system comprising: a sprayable composition (110) having a viscosity ranging from 500 centipoise to 10,000 centipoise, wherein the composition (110) comprises a hydrofluoro-based propellant, a carrier fluid, one or more emulsifiers nonionic lipophilic emulsifiers and one or more nonionic hydrophilic emulsifiers, wherein the weight ratio of the one or more nonionic lipophilic emulsifiers to the one or more nonionic hydrophilic emulsifiers ranges from 5 to 30, and wherein the one or more lipophilic emulsifiers non-ionic comprises an uncrosslinked dimethicone polyol, a sorbitan fatty acid ester, an octyldodecanol, or a combination thereof, and wherein the one or more nonionic hydrophilic emulsifiers comprise a modified sorbitan fatty acid ester with a polyoxyethylene, and active agent particles; and a container (101), wherein the container (101) comprises a dip tube (311); a valve assembly (300) comprising a valve body (305), a stem (302) comprising a stem hole (303), and a steam tap (306); and an actuator (200; 203), wherein the dip tube (311) is coupled to the actuator (200; 203) via the valve assembly (300), wherein the actuator (200) is depressed to dispense the composition of active agent stored in the container (101). |
