abstract A hot melt adhesive comprising: (a) 5 to 40% by weight of a polypropylene-polyethylene (co) polymer having (i) a propylene content of 70 to 95% by weight of the (co) polymer , (ii) a polydispersity index (Mw / Mn) of less than 3.0, (iii) a flow rate of 20 to 300 g / 10 min measured at 230 ° C / 2.16 kg according to the standard ASTM D1238, (iv) a melting point of less than 90 ° C, measured in accordance with ASTM 3418, and (v) a melting calorific value of less than 35 J / g measured at a heating and cooling rate 10 ° C / min according to ASTM D3418-12; (b) 30 to 70% by weight of a bonding agent; and (c) optionally up to 30% by weight of a wax or a plasticizer; wherein the adhesive has (i) a tan (δ) value greater than 30 at 140 ° C, 10 rad / s and (ii) a melt viscosity of 2000 to 11,000 mPa-s (cps) at 150 ° C, measured in accordance with ASTM 3236-88.
