abstract A dialkylphosphinate preparation process, comprising the following steps: (1) firstly adding 0-99% of the total weight of phosphinic acid and/or salts thereof, and a solvent in a reaction kettle; (2) in the reaction kettle in the presence of alkene and initiator, continuously add 1-100% of the total weight of the phosphinic acid and/or salts thereof in the reaction system, during the addition, when the total molar fractions of acids monoalkylphosphinic acids and/or salts thereof in their decreasing curves represent 10% or less of the total moles of phosphorus in the reaction system, stop adding additional phosphinic acid and/or salts thereof, thus obtaining dialkylphosphinic acids and/or salts thereof.
