A renal denervation catheter comprising: a catheter body; and a distal tip section having: a tube (128) with at least one opening (156), the tube (128) having a lumen (135); an inflatable balloon member (167) in the lumen (135); at least one needle (113) attached to an outer surface of the balloon member (167); a control handle proximal to the catheter body; a fluid tube (137) extending through at least the catheter body and distal tip section, the fluid tube (137) adapted to pass fluid in and out of the balloon member (167), wherein the at least one needle (113) has a treatment portion (151) deployed out of the distal tip section through the at least one opening (156) when the balloon member (167) is inflated and The at least one needle (113) retracts into the distal tip section when the balloon member (167) is deflated. |
