abstract |
A microorganism for producing O-succinylhomoserin, said microorganism comprising: (i) a homoserine O-succinyltransferase resistant to methionine feedback inhibition having an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 14, 16, 18, 20 or 22; (ii) an increased aspartokinase or homoserine dehydrogenase (EC2.7.2.4 or 1.1.1.3) activity based on that of a natural protein; and (iii) a reduced or inactivated cystathionine gamma synthase activity based on that of a natural protein. |
