abstract A two-part overlap dressing to secure a cannula on a patient's skin surface, said dressing comprising: a flexible first adhesive sheet (10) provided with a groove (16) separated from all peripheral edges of the first sheet ; and a second flexible adhesive sheet (12); wherein the slit in the first sheet comprises a slit (18), one of whose ends ends in an enlarged opening (20); and the second sheet is sized so that, when aligned with the first sheet and adhered against it, in use, it is capable of overlapping the entire length of the slit in order to reduce the slit to the size of the enlarged opening.
