abstract | A fastening device (10) for minimally invasive surgery, including: a) an elongated surface element (41) having a proximal end and a distal end; b) a biocompatible deformable article (4) resting on the surface element at the distal end of the surface element; and c) a flexible band (42) having a proximal end and a distal end, where: the distal end of the flexible band is connected to the distal end of the surface element; the flexible band forms a closed loop with the biocompatible deformable article on the surface element, the closed loop is capable of fitting in a tissue or an organ or portion thereof during minimally invasive surgery; and the proximal end of the flexible band is configured to be adjustably tensioned so that the portion of the flexible band that forms a closed loop with the biocompatible deformable article can be shortened or elongated, whereby the loop can hold tissue. or an organ or portion thereof; and is characterized in that the elongated surface element is concave to form a stabilizer (45) on which the biocompatible deformable article rests. |
