Isolated antibody, or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, that neutralizes infection of a group 1 subtype and a group 2 subtype of influenza A virus and comprising: i) the heavy chain sequences of CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3, as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 1, 41, and 43, respectively, or as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 1, 41, and 42, respectively; and ii) the light chain sequences of CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3, as established in SEQ ID NO: 4, 5 and 6, respectively, or as established in SEQ ID NO: 44, 5 and 6, respectively , wherein said antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof comprises a heavy chain variable region having at least 90% sequence identity with the amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 59 or 55; and a light chain variable region having a sequence identity of at least 90% with the amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 57 or 61 and wherein said antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof is produced. in cells transfected to titers at least 3 times higher than those produced by variant 2 of FI6. |
