abstract A sandwich type solar facet characterized in that it comprises reflective layers on its front (1) and rear (3) faces, and an intermediate layer (2) of polymeric foam; where: the reflective layer on the front face (1) is a solar quality mirror, whose optical performance is adapted for application to a solar field, with a thickness value between 0.4 mm and 2.2 mm; - the reflective layer on the rear face (3) is a non-solar quality mirror, with a thickness value between 2.2 mm and 10 mm; and - the intermediate layer (2) has a thickness between 15 and 70 mm; wherein the thickness (e) of the reflective layer of the front face (1) is less than that of the reflective layer of the rear face (3), in such a way that to the front <e back.
