titleOfInvention Proteins comprising binding regions, effector regions of the Shiga toxin subunit A and signal motifs of localization of carboxy terminal endoplasmic reticulum
abstract Protein comprising a) a binding region capable of specifically binding to at least one extracellular target biomolecule, b) an effector region of subunit A of the Shiga toxin comprising a polypeptide capable of showing at least one Shiga toxin function, wherein the polypeptide comprises or consists of a sequence that is at least 85% identical to a sequence selected from: (i) amino acids 75 to 251 of SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2, or SEQ ID NO : 3; (ii) amino acids 1 to 241 of SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2, or SEQ ID NO: 3; (iii) amino acids 1 to 251 of SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2, or SEQ ID NO: 3; and (iv) amino acids 1 to 261 of SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2, or SEQ ID NO: 3, and wherein at least one function of the Shiga toxin is selected from the group consisting of: internalization cellular, subcellular addressing and cytotoxicity; and c) reason for the retention / recovery signal of the carboxy terminal endoplasmic reticulum of a member of the KDEL family.
