abstract The invention comprises compounds of general formula <FORM:1005875/C2/1> where R is alkyl (1-4 C) or aralkyl (7-10 C) their acid addition salts and their preparation by reduction of N-R, N1-(CH2CN)-1,5-diazacyclo-octanes, which may be prepared by treating a compound of formula <FORM:1005875/C2/2> where Hal is chlorine, bromine or iodine, with an alkali metal cyanide, the compound IV being preparable by reaction of R-Hal with 1,5-diazabicyclo[3,3,1]nonane, obtainable from 1,5-diazacyclo-octane and formaldehyde.
