abstract | Method to produce plant growth substrate based on coco peat, a method that consists of acidifying a coco peat by adding to the coco peat an aqueous solution comprising: - 20 to 30% (v / v) of nitric acid; - 5 to 15% (v / v) of phosphoric acid; and - 5 to 15% (v / v) of sulfuric acid, where 1 to 100 moles of H + are added per cubic meter of coco peat, thus providing a plant growth substrate based on coco peat with a pH lower than 5. |
