A method for enriching adult multipotential mesenchymal precursor cells, the method comprising enriching a cell sample taken from a tissue source containing multipotential mesenchymal precursor cells expressing the HSP-90beta marker, where to enrich the cells expressing the HSP-90beta marker comprises: contacting the cell sample with an HSP-90beta binding agent; and separating cells bound to the HSP-90beta binding agent from cells that do not bind to the HSP-90beta binding agent; and where the HSP-90beta binding agent is an antibody or an antigen binding fragment thereof that specifically binds to HSP-90beta. |
