Procedure for measuring the thermal stability of succinic acid, characterized in that it comprises the following steps: 1) prepare a succinic acid crystalline powder that has less than 1% residual water content, 2) place 10 g of said crystalline powder in an oven at 220ºC for 2h or 2h15, 3) crush and sift the crystalline powder thus treated, so that its particle size distribution is: * between 0 and 10%, preferably between 4 and 6% for the particles greater than 500 μm in size, * between 20 and 40%, preferably between 25 and 35% for particles with a size between 200 and 500 μm, * between 50 and 75%, preferably between between 55 and 70% for particles smaller than 200 μm, 4) perform the color measurement in a spectrocolorimeter of a tablet made on crushed and sieved powder and determine the average value of yellow s (index "b"). |
