Method for phosphorus removal and recovery, which comprises a) a precipitation step for precipitating phosphorus from a liquid stream comprising a maximum of 30 mg of phosphorus per liter and a maximum of 50 mg of suspended solids per liter, using an agent of precipitation selected from a group consisting of aluminum sulfate Al2 (SO4) 3, ferric sulfate Fe2 (SO4) 3 and aluminum chloride AlCl3, to form a precipitate, b) a first separation step to separate the precipitate from the stream of liquid, c) a dissolution stage to dissolve the precipitate in phosphoric acid to obtain a first solution, comprising dihydrogen phosphate and ions, the nature of the ions depending on the nature of the precipitating agent and d) a second separation step to separate the phosphoric acid and the ions of the precipitation agent, in which the second stage of separation is carried out by an inte ionic exchange. |
