abstract A medical compress (100, 300, 800), comprising: a first layer (116, 316, 840/850) for containing a first circulating heat exchange fluid, for circulation therethrough, wherein the medical compress it can be operated for thermal exchange between said first circulating heat exchange fluid and a patient, through a first side of the first layer; a second layer (104, 304, 830) disposed on a second side of the first layer, opposite the first side of the first layer, characterized in that the second layer comprises a plurality of cameras (108, 308, 832) projecting in opposite direction to the second side of the first layer, and a plurality of portions (212, 412) defined by a plurality of depressions (204, 304, 842) located in lateral relation, side by side, with corresponding portions of the first layer , enclosing a second heat exchange fluid within the second layer, wherein the medical napkin can be operated for thermal exchange between the enclosed second heat exchange fluid and a patient, through the first side of the first layer.
