abstract An isolated antibody that specifically binds to the extracellular domain of human type C lectin-like molecule (CLL-1), where the antibody binds to a polypeptide consisting of the lectin C domain of human CLL-1 with a Kd at least 5 times greater than a polypeptide consisting of the lectin C and peduncle domains of human CLL-1, wherein the antibody is selected from the group consisting of: an antibody comprising the complementarity determining regions H1-H3 heavy chain (CDR) of SEQ ID NO: 51, 59 and 67, and L1-L3 light chain CDR of SEQ ID NO: 75, 83 and 91; and an antibody comprising the H1-H3 heavy chain CDRs of SEQ ID NO: 52, 60 and 68, and the L1-L3 light chain CDRs of SEQ ID NO: 76, 84 and 92.
