Device for drug delivery to target tissues |
abstract |
A minimally invasive implantable device, the device comprises: at least one internal catheter (100); at least one drug delivery channel (400) located within the internal catheter (100); and an external catheter (200) substantially surrounding at least one internal catheter (100), wherein a substantially distal portion (40) of the device additionally comprises at least one drug release site (420) for delivery by at least one drug to an external cardiac surface of a patient; and at least one electrically conductive element configured to provide defibrillation energy to the patient's external cardiac surface. |
