abstract | A method for connecting reaction components to load sensors, comprising (a) providing a solid support comprising numerous load sensors, wherein each of the load sensors has a capability to be connected to numerous reaction components; (b) providing a fluid comprising numerous reaction components of a particular type, wherein each of the reaction components of the particular type is attached to a repellent moiety; and (c) contacting the solid support with the fluid under the conditions in which (i) the numerous reaction components of the particular type are in fluid communication with the numerous charge sensors, (ii) in the fluid there is a greater number of reaction components of the particular type than the number of load sensors on the solid support; (iii) the reaction components of the concrete type are connected from the fluid to the charge sensors, and (iv) the repellent moiety fixed to each of the reaction components prevents more than one of the reaction components in the numerous components of the reaction are connected to each of the load sensors. |
