Method of cosmetic treatment of keratin fibers, preferably hair, comprising at least the steps consisting of: a) applying, on said keratin fibers, a composition containing at least one substance chosen from the fatty bodies, where said composition is free of alkaline or alkaline earth hydroxides at a pH greater than 12 or free of reducing agent (s) that allow the disulfide bonds to break, b) apply a mechanical tension on said keratin fibers, and c) expose said keratin fibers under microwave mechanical stress, at a pressure ranging from 50,000 to 250,000 Pa, in the presence of at least one solvent in the form of steam in contact with the keratin fibers and without having completely dried the keratin fibers during the entire exposure to microwaves, where the vapor solvent (s) is completely generated by evaporating at least one compound present, before the emission of the microwaves, in contact with the keratin fibers, where stage a) takes place prior to stage c). |
