Bispecific protein, comprising: (a) a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having the following formula: A-L1-P-L2-P, in which A is an immunoglobulin heavy chain of an IgG antibody, L1 it is a first peptide linker that is absent or is 3 to 40 amino acids in length, P is a BAFF binding peptide that is 10 to 40 amino acids in length, and L2 is a second peptide linker that is absent or 5 50 amino acids in length, and in which the immunoglobulin heavy chain of (a) and the immunoglobulin light chain of (b) form an IgG antibody, comprising two molecules of the polypeptide of (a) and two molecules of the light chain of (b), which can bind to B7RP1; and (b) an immunoglobulin light chain of an IgG antibody, in which the immunoglobulin heavy chain of (a) and the immunoglobulin light chain of (b) form an IgG antibody that binds to B7RP1, in the that the protein comprises two molecules of the polypeptide of (a) and two molecules of the light chain of (b), in which the protein inhibits BAFF-mediated proliferation of human B cells, and in which the protein inhibits mediated proliferation by B7RP1 of human T cells. |
