Modified intravenous intubation set for in-line catheter rinsing |
abstract |
An intravenous intubation assembly comprising: a coupling component (20) for accessing the source of a rinse solution (30); a rinse chamber (40); one or more IV intubations (50) that connect the source of the rinse solution (30) and the rinse chamber (40); one or more flow control devices (60, 90) are arranged at intubation IV (50) between the source of the rinse solution (30) and the rinse chamber (40) to control the flow rate of the rinse solution to the rinse chamber; and one or more flow control devices (60, 90) are arranged in the intubation IV between the rinse chamber (40) and the patient's catheter (80), characterized in that the rinse chamber (40) is heat sealed to a IV intubation (50), connecting the intubation IV (50) the rinse chamber (40) and a catheter (80) of the patient. |
