titleOfInvention Process for using and creating paper based on natural or synthetic cellulose fibers or combinations of these as physical support and storage medium for electric charges in self-sustaining binding field effect transistors using active semiconductor oxides
abstract Process for manufacturing an electronically or optoelectronically active field effect semiconductor device with non-volatile memory comprising a thin film characterized in that said film is based on paper (2) constituted by natural or synthetic cellulose fibers, or combinations thereof, in the dielectric of said device, where the thin film (2) is based on natural or synthetic cellulose fibers produced by regeneration, dissolution or combinations thereof, with spontaneous electrical polarization capacity, in which the dielectric has quasi-permanent charges stored regardless of any applied electric field, operating in a similar way to electrets, where the cellulose fibers of said paper (2) are embedded in a resin or ionic glue and said paper has an electronegativity controlled by the addition of cationic species such as aluminum, in which said thin film (2) also acts as or substrate of said device making it a self-sustaining device.
