A hyperbranched and cationic polymer molecule characterized by having (i) a central molecular mass residue of 14 to 1,000 Da, (ii) a total molecular mass of 10,000 to 300,000 Da, (iii) a ratio of total molecular mass per molecular mass of the central residue of at least 80: 1, and (iv) terminal functional groups, whereby one or more of said terminal functional groups have a heparin residue covalently linked by a single point to them, wherein said residue Heparin is covalently linked by a single point to the hyperbranched polymer molecule through the reducing end of the rest of heparin, and where the hyperbranched polymer is not a dendrimer. |
