titleOfInvention Automatic injection device with trigger set
abstract An automatic injection device, comprising: a housing (22); a syringe (130) filled with medication and including a needle (134), said syringe being movable within said housing from a first position, wherein said needle is disposed within said housing, to a second position, in which said needle protrudes beyond said housing; a drive means that includes a deflected element (136) to move said syringe from said first position to said second position and to force the medication through said needle; at least one retaining surface (239) and a supporting surface (234) defining an opening (231), said at least one retaining surface and said supporting surface being disposed within said housing, and including said supporting surface a pair of mirror projections (232) extending inward, comprising facing surfaces (240); a trigger assembly for activating said drive means, to allow said deflected element to move in a first axial direction with respect to the housing, including said trigger assembly; a button (25) movable with respect to the housing, from a first axial position to a second axial position, said button including a drive element (52) that extends in the first axial direction and includes a face (54) radially towards inside and a face (54) radially outwardly, said face radially inwardly comprising a pin engagement surface; a single pin (160) extending from said deflected element towards said button, and which includes at least one retaining surface (172) and a latch surface with button for the sliding hitch with said spindle engagement surface of said element of actuation, wherein at least one of said pin hitch surface and said button hitch surface is inclined with respect to the axial direction to provide a ramp; said pair of inwardly extending projections (232) defining, from the support surface (234), a radially extending opening section (244), of the opening in which said actuating element fits between the facing surfaces ( 240) so that the support surface supports said face radially outward from said drive element and said drive element and said single pin are structured and arranged so that, when said button is in said first axial position, said at least one retaining surface is in a radial position where the at least one retaining surface can be engaged to prevent movement of the deflected element in the first axial direction, and so that the movement of said button from said first axial position to said second axial position radially move said at least one retention surface for decoupling the at least one surface stopper, so that the movement of said drive element in a direction opposite to said pin is limited by the fact that said radially outer face of said drive member abuts the support surface and by the fact that said actuating element makes transverse contact with the facing surfaces.
