An endograft device (10) for endovascular repair of ascending aortic aneurysms, comprising: a first prosthetic component (14) that includes a frame (100) extending from a proximal end (102) to a distal end (103) of the First prosthetic component, the frame (100) of the first prosthetic component (14) comprises (i) a proximal frame (110), and (ii) a distal frame (112) secured to the proximal frame and extending to the distal end (104 ) of the first prosthetic component (14), a second prosthetic component (12) secured to the proximal end (102) of the first prosthetic component (14), the second prosthetic component (12) defines a passageway (36) extending through the same, and a valve element (32) secured to a proximal end of the second prosthetic component (12), the valve element (32) is configured to allow fluid to pass selectively to the passageway (36), wherein the first prosthetic component (14) and the second prosthetic component (12) are insurable together by means of an interference fit between the frame (100) of the first prosthetic component (14) and the distal end (30) of the second prosthetic component (12), wherein the second Prosthetic component (12) is configured to be positioned upstream of the first prosthetic component (14). |
