abstract |
Method for producing microparticles or nanoparticles from an aqueous solution of a biopolymer with a molecular weight of 70 kDa or higher, which comprises the step of a) spraying the aqueous solution together with a mixture of a compressible gas comprising carbon dioxide and an organic cosolvent / antisolvent soluble in water within a pressurized chamber at a temperature of 25 to 80ÂșC and a pressure ranging between 8 and 40 mPa, the cosolvent / antisolvent being present in the mixture in a concentration of 20 to 80% % (p: p) in subcritical or supercritical carbon dioxide. |
