abstract | An oligonucleotide primer of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), comprising a nucleotide sequence that is of the formula: XYZ in which: X is X1 or X2, wherein: X1 are the final n nucleotides in the sequence of ATATGGAAATTTGATCATGT nucleotides (SEQ ID NO: 1), where n is a number between 2 and 20, included; and X2 is a variant of X1 that differs in no more than one nucleotide substitution; Y is Y1 or Y2, where Y1 is the nucleotide sequence AS1TAATS2ATAC (SEQ ID NO: 2), in which S1 and S2 are independently selected from G and C; and Y2 is a variant of Y1 that differs from Y1 in no more than one nucleotide substitution, with the proviso that said nucleotide substitution is not a substitution of the first A or the final C of Y1; Z are the first m nucleotides in the TAAAG nucleotide sequence, in which m is a number between 0 and 5, included. |
