A multiparticulate formulation of L-menthol comprising a plurality of particles having a reduced release under gastric conditions and a high release at neutral pH, the particles comprising: a core comprising L-menthol as the active ingredient, the L- being supplied menthol to the core in the form of an 80% purity L-menthol material; an enteric coating on the core, the enteric coating being effective in releasing at least about 80% of L-menthol in about a period of two hours after being placed in an environment with a substantially neutral pH. |
