abstract | A cell culture control system (1) comprising: a controller (15) configured to control parameters of a culture fluid existing in a processor (10) in accordance with a control value that is preliminarily set; a sensor (11) configured to detect a cell density, a metabolic substance concentration value and a nutrient source concentration value in the culture fluid existing in the processor (10) using near-infrared spectroscopy; a calculator (12) configured to calculate a specific rate of cell density, a specific rate of concentration value of metabolic substances, and a specific rate of concentration value of nutrient sources based on cell density, the concentration value of the metabolic substances and the concentration value of the nutrient sources detected by the sensor (11); a generator (13a) configured to generate time series data according to specific rates calculated by the calculator (12); an extractor (14) comprising a simulator (17) configured to compute a predicted value from the time series data, the extractor (14) configured to extract a characteristic point from the time series data or a characteristic point from the predicted value ; and a control value regulator (19) configured to change the control value in accordance with the characteristic point extracted by the extractor (14), wherein the control value regulator (19) is configured to determine an amount to be additives are added at a time when the extractor (14) emits the characteristic point, and where the controller (15) is configured to cause a control unit (25), which is arranged between a supply source of the additives and the processor (10), perform a supply operation and a lock operation according to the adding amount of the additives determined by the control value adjuster (19). |
