Fractional manual device for dermatological treatments |
abstract |
A medical device (10) comprising: a housing (36) configured to move along a surface (11) of a target tissue in a longitudinal direction (A); one or more supply lines (22, 25) configured to conduct air and water to the housing (36); a pulse emitter (40) configured to emit electromagnetic pulses toward the surface (11) with a pulse repetition frequency to produce holes (13) for tissue ablation, in which the pulse emitter (40) includes components optics (41, 43, 44) and is configured to direct the air against the optical components (41, 43, 44) to keep the optical components clean (41, 43, 44); characterized in that the medical device (10) further comprises one or more nozzles (24, 27) configured to emit air and water in an air / water jet to moisten and cool the target tissue before laser application. |
