abstract | Process for dyeing keratin fibers, in particular human keratin fibers such as hair, in which: a first step is to apply to said keratin fibers a composition comprising the following ingredients: a) one or more dihydroxyflavanol derivatives, represented by compounds of the following formula (I) and also organic or inorganic acid salts thereof, optical, geometric and tautomeric isomers thereof, and solvates thereof such as hydrates: ** (See formula) ** in which: * R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9, which are identical or different, represent: - a hydrogen atom, - a halogen atom, - a hydroxyl group, - a group (C1- C6) alkyl, - a (C1-C6) alkoxy group, - a (C1-C6) alkylthio group, - a carboxyl group, - an alkoxycarbonyl group, v - an optionally substituted amino group, - an optionally linear or branched alkenyl group substituted, - an optionally substituted cycloalkyl group, - an aryl group, - a substituted aryl group, - a group containing one or more silicon atoms, - a (di) ((hydroxy) (C1-C6) alkyl) amino group, - a -O-sugar group, such as -O-glycoside, - a RZC (X) -Y- group where R represents a hydrogen atom or a (C1-C6) alkyl group, Y and Z, which can be identical or different, represent a bond, an atom of oxygen or sulfur or a group -N (R ') - where R' represents a hydrogen atom or a (C1-C6) alkyl group, and possibly also representing a (C1-C6) alkylene group, and X representing an oxygen or sulfur atom, or NR "where R" represents a hydrogen atom or a (C1-C6) alkyl group; it is understood that at least two adjacent radicals chosen from R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 represent a hydroxyl group, b) one or more manganese salts or one or more zinc salts, c) hydrogen peroxide or one or more hydrogen peroxide generation systems, and f) one or more metal salts chosen from magnesium salts, molybdenum salts and calcium salts; and then, a second step consists in applying to said keratin fibers a composition comprising the following ingredients: d) one or more (bi) carbonates or one or more systems for generating (bi) carbonate, and e) one or more agents alkalizing agents other than bicarbonate (s); It is understood that: - at least one of the compositions used during said dyeing process has an alkaline pH, that is, greater than 7, and - the composition comprising ingredient a) is aqueous. |
