Process for producing a suspension of aripiprazole comprising the steps of: (a) combining aripiprazole in bulk and a vehicle to form a primary suspension; (b) subject the primary suspension to a first spray to form a secondary suspension; and (c) subjecting the secondary suspension to a second spray to form a final suspension, in which in the first spray of step (b), the secondary suspension is formed by spraying the primary suspension using a high shear spraying machine or a dispersion machine that applies a cutting force to a material to be processed, and in the second spray of step (c), the final suspension is formed by spraying the secondary suspension using a high pressure homogenizer. |
