abstract | A system for storing a biological sample, comprising: a container (20) having a closed end (28), an open end (24) and a side wall (32) extending between them, defining an interior (36) of the container; a removable closure (60) to close the open end (24) of the container (20); a sample holder (50) to accommodate a biological sample, which can be introduced into the interior (36) of the container; a hole (76) disposed inside the removable closure (60), where the hole is a valve; and an injection device (110) attachable with the hole (76) to allow fluid to flow from the inside of the injection device (110) to the inside (36) of the container; wherein the sample holder (50) is connected to the closure (60) through a receiving element (68), in which the receiving element comprises a platform (66) that is aligned with the hole (76), such that when a fluid passes through the hole (76), the fluid comes into contact with the platform (66) and then with the sample holder (50) by means of a series of openings in the platform (66), of such that the fluid introduced through the hole (76) passes directly through the sample holder (50). |
