Nutritional composition comprising 100 kcal: (i) at least 12 g of proteinaceous matter that comprises at least 80% by weight of whey protein, in relation to the total proteinaceous matter, and that comprises at least 11% by weight of leucine , in relation to the total proteinaceous matter, of which at least 20% by weight are in free form, in relation to the total leucine, (ii) a source of fat and a source of digestible carbohydrates, for use in prevention or treatment of a disease or condition that involves muscle deterioration in a mammal, where the nutritional composition is administered as 1 to 2 servings daily, each serving comprises between 80 and 200 kcal. |
