An isolated antibody or fragment thereof against a protein 6 related to low density lipoproteins (LRP6), wherein said antibody or fragment (i) binds to the propellant region 1 of LRP6, (ii) specifically inhibits signaling of propellant-dependent Wnt 1 and (iii) has a dissociation rate constant (KD) of less than 5x10-9 M determined using surface plasmon resonance, wherein said antibody or fragment comprises a heavy chain variable region CDR1 of SEQ ID NO: 1; a CDR2 heavy chain variable region of SEQ ID NO: 2; a CDR3 of the heavy chain variable region of SEQ ID NO: 3; a CDR1 of the light chain variable region of SEQ ID NO: 4; a CDR2 of the light chain variable region of SEQ ID NO: 5; and a CDR3 of the light chain variable region of SEQ ID NO: 6, wherein the antibody or fragment is monovalent or bivalent. |
