An in vitro method of identifying a population of cytolytic CD4 + T lymphocytes that induce apoptosis, said method comprising the steps of: - providing CD4 + regulatory T lymphocytes suspected of being cytolytic, and - determining that said T lymphocytes have undetectable expression of the repressor of the Foxp3 transcription and show, in comparison with isolated natural CD4 + regulatory T lymphocytes, an increased activity of serine-threonine kinase AKT. |
