abstract |
A double head contrast media injector system (22), the system comprising: a processor for controlling the operation of the injector system; a memory coupled to the processor; a first head (28a) to drive the injection of the fluid from a first syringe (36a); a second head (28b) to drive the injection of the fluid from a second syringe (36b); the processor being configured to selectively perform a preliminary injection before performing an injection protocol, characterized by: storing the memory a plurality of injection protocols, each protocol including respective injection parameters; wherein a flow rate for the preliminary injection is programmed in such a way that the flow rate is obtained from the injection parameters for a specific injection protocol selected to follow said preliminary injection. |
