titleOfInvention | Ergotionein synthesis procedure and analogues |
abstract | Method of synthesis of a derivative of the following formula (I): ** Formula ** or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof, a tautomer, a stereoisomer or a mixture of stereoisomers in any proportion, in which: - R1 and R2 represent, independently of one another, a hydrogen atom or a (C1-C4) alkyl group, at least one of the groups R1 and R2 representing a hydrogen atom, and - R3, R4 and R5 independently represent of others, a (C1-C4) alkyl group, comprising the following successive steps: (i) cleavage reaction of a betaine-type compound of the following formula (II): ** Formula ** or a physiologically acceptable salt, of a tautomer, of a stereoisomer or of a mixture of stereoisomers in any proportion, in which: - represents or, - R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are as defined above, - R6 represents a hydrogen atom or a (C1-C4) or -CO- (C1-C4) alkyl group, and - R7 r it represents a hydrogen atom or a (C1-C4) alkyl group, in the presence of a thiol, at a temperature greater than or equal to 60 ° C, to give a compound of formula (I), and (ii) separation of the compound from formula (I) obtained in step (i) above of the reaction medium. |
