titleOfInvention | Cellulose fiber and manufacturing process |
abstract | Cellulose fiber of the genus Lyocell which is treated with a crosslinking agent, wherein the crosslinking agent in the fiber induces a protection against fibrillation and shows the following properties: - the protection against fibrillation induced by the crosslinking agent varies by storing the fiber in a pH range of 4.0 to 10, in particular under the influence of moisture and / or heat - in the pH range of 4.0 to 10.0 there is an optimal value in which the stability of the protection against fibrillation induced by the crosslinking agent during storage is maximum - around the optimum value there is an adequate range in which the stability decreases a maximum of 20% compared to the stability at the optimum value - the appropriate range is limited within from the pH range of 4.0 to 10.0 by at least one limit value, in which the stability decreases 20% compared to the long-term stability at the optimum value and by low or above which a further decrease in stability occurs - the crosslinking agent has a potential to change the pH value characterized in that the fiber contains a buffer substance in the appropriate range and shows a buffering capacity in the appropriate range of at least 12 mmol / kg of fiber, preferably 15 to 70 mmol / kg of fiber. |
