A solar collector, comprising: a means (2) for regulating heat, defining a cavity (1265) therein and having an opening (9) that communicates with the cavity, to allow solar energy incident on the opening (9) enters the cavity through the opening (9), said heat regulating means (2) being disposed within a housing (10); a gas and / or low pressure atmosphere within the housing (10), said gas being a gas that does not react substantially with the heat regulating means (2) at the maximum operating temperature of the medium (2); an energy capture device (1), arranged in the cavity and in thermal contact with the heat regulating means (2), to capture the solar energy entering the cavity; and a heat exchanger (3), in thermal contact with the heat regulating means (2); characterized in that the heat regulating means (2) comprises graphite, graphite particles embedded in a thermoconductive matrix, pure carbon or a mixture of any of two or more thereof. |
