An adenoviral vector comprising a promoter and a nucleic acid sequence encoding a pathogen or tumor antigen under the control of said promoter, wherein said promoter comprises a regulatory element of the CMV IE1 promoter and the CMV IE1 promoter enhancer and a fragment of the 5 'untranslated region of the CMV IE1 gene that includes intron A and excludes exon B and intron B, where the regulatory element, enhancer and fragment of the untranslated region of the promoter's CM1 IE1 gene have a total length of 1.9 kb and where said antigen is not an antigen of the murine malaria parasite. |
