Clonal and homogeneous marrow stem cells for use in the treatment of graft-versus-host disease, in which clonal and homogeneous marrow stem cells are isolated by the method comprising: i) allowing a sample of marrow cells sediment bone in a container; ii) transfer the supernatant from i) to a new container and cultivate; iii) transfer the supernatant from ii) to a new container and cultivate; iv) transferring the supernatant from iii) to a new container; v) allowing cells to form colonies derived from individual cells; and vi) isolating a homogeneous population of marrow clonal stem cells. |
