Procedure for producing a fluoroolefin of formula (6) CF3- (CF2) n-CA> = CHB (6) in which one of A and B is F and the other is H, n is an integer from 0-2, with the proviso that n is 0 when a compound of formula (5) is used as the starting material; which comprises reacting, as a starting material, at least one compound selected from formulas (1) - (5): CX3- (CX2) n-CClY-CH2Z (1) in which X is independently F or Cl, and Y is H and Z is Cl or F, or Y is F and Z is H, and n is an integer from 0-2; CX3 - (CX2) n-CH2CHX2 (2) CX3 - (CX2) n-CH> = CHX (4) in which X is independently F or Cl, and at least one X is Cl, and n is an integer of 0 -2; CX3- (CX2) n-CCl> = CH2 (3) CH2X-CCl> = CX2 (5) in which X is independently F or Cl, and n in formula (3) is an integer from 0-2; with a fluorinating agent in the vapor phase and in the presence of at least one catalyst selected from optionally fluorinated chromium oxide containing a tetravalent or pentavalent group element 5, in which at least part of the chromium oxide is crystallized. |
