abstract Procedure for in vitro determination of high-grade prostate cancer in a urine or urine-derived sample from a human individual suspected of suffering from prostate cancer, comprising: - determining the expression levels of DLX1 and HOXC6; and - determine the increase in the level of expression of DLX1 and HOXC6 in comparison with the levels of expression of DLX1 and HOXC6 in a sample from an individual not suffering from prostate cancer or in comparison with an indicator reference value of a level of disease-free expression; therefore, based on the increase in expression levels DLX1 and HOXC6, provide said determination of high or low grade prostate cancer in said sample.
