A method for detecting a proliferative disorder of prostate cells in a subject comprising determining the levels of methylation of the RASSF2A gene in an isolated biological sample of said subject, wherein said methylation is determined by detecting the presence or absence of CpG methylation within said gene, and where the presence of CpG methylation is indicative of the presence of said disorder. |
