titleOfInvention | Low viscosity allophanates with actinically hardenable groups |
abstract | Procedure for preparing radiation-hardening binders containing allophanate groups, in which one or more compounds containing uretdione groups with B) are reacted at temperatures <= 130 ° CA) one or more compounds with OH functionality having groups (groups of radiation hardening) which, by the effect of actinic radiation, react with polymerization with ethylenically unsaturated compounds and C), possibly other reactive compounds against NCO groups, in the presence of D) one or more compounds containing at least one zinc compound as catalyst and E) one or more stabilizers and optionally auxiliary substances and additives with opening of the uretdione ring to form allophanate groups, wherein the proportion of the OH groups of component B) with respect to the sum of NCO and uretdione groups of A) is worth 1.5: 1.0 to 1.0: 1.9; Firstly, A) is reacted with B) until the complete reaction of the NCO groups - E) or parts of it may already be present - and then, by the addition of D) and also, eventually, by temperature adjustment , initiate the reaction of uretdione groups of A) with B); and the unsaturated allophanates that can be obtained have contents of free di- or triisocyanate monomers of less than 0.5% by weight, preferably less than 0.1% by weight. |
