titleOfInvention System and method for the diffusion of formulas of color inks and dyes
abstract Method for providing an electronic selection of at least one formula of a dye that is suitable for the production of a color for a color product, wherein the production of the color is based on at least one criterion, the method comprising, in the order indicated below: a) present a user interface to a user, which allows the user to identify a color to present the dye formulas to produce the identified color (S200), b) provide an electronic color palette as part of the user interface, which presents a plurality of electronic colors represented by the color information stored in an electronic library, and identify the color selections that are available to the user (S202), c) once the user has identified the color for production, a selection is made and the color information that is linked to the selected color is retrieved (S204), d) to peel all the dye formulas that are stored in the electronic library that are associated with the information retrieved from the color (S206), e) present a selection of the dye formulas that correspond to the color selected by the user (S208), f) select, by the user, one or more dye formulas associated with the selected color and corresponding to a criterion previously identified in the electronic library such as those affecting the dye formula (S210), g) transmit the dye formula selected to a specialist (S212), and where the electronic library is provided, by a method with the following steps: (b1) receive a physical color sample (S100) by reading a visible spectrum of the color sample and generate the data directed to the measured amounts of light absorbed or reflected in specific points of the spectrum; (b2) generate the electronic color information from the physical sample (S102), the color representing the electronic information, where the electronic color information has a format such as at least one of spectral data, CIEXYZ, CIELAB, CIELUV, CIEUVW, color space, chromaticity coordinates xy, u "v" and uv, computer graphic triplets, including RGB, CMYK, HLS, HIS, HSV and HVC, Munsell notation, Swedish Natural Color System notation, ColorCurve notation , RAL notation, Pantone color number, DIC color number, opal tone ("Opal Tone"), DIN color notation, color name in the Color Marketing Group and color name in the Color Association of the United States of the Color of the United States); (b3) associate the electronic information of the generated color with a name (S104); (b4) storing the electronic information of the color generated with the associated name in the electronic library (S106), where the electronic information of the stored color is made recoverable by displaying an electronic color palette that includes a visual representation and the name color associate; (b5) identify and receive a substrate for the color or at least one criterion that may affect the formula of the dye necessary to create the color (S108); (b6) receive a dye formula capable of creating the color, either on the (i) substrate identified and received, or (ii) that corresponds to the effect of at least one of the criteria selected in step (b5) (S110), wherein the dye formula is determined by (ia) manual mixing of the dyes followed by visual or instrumental color confirmation, or (iia) by using a software application for color correspondence assisted by computer (CCM); (b7) associate the dye formula with the color (S112); (b8) promote the user so that another substrate or other criterion is associated with the color and loop back to step (b5) (S108) when another substrate or other criterion is provided (S114); and (b9) finalize the method by providing the electronic library when the user does not wish to associate another substrate or other criteria with the respective color (S116).
