Recombinant human G-CSF dimer and use thereof for the treatment of neurological diseases |
abstract |
A dimer of the human granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) of formula (I) (I) M1-L-M2 wherein M1 is a first G-CSF monomer; M2 is a second monomer of G-CSF; and L is a connector that connects said first monomer and said second monomer and is disposed between them; wherein L is a polypeptide of formula (II): (II) -Z-Y-Z in which Y is a carrier protein formed by two Fc fragments connected through a plurality of disulfide bonds arranged between them; and Z is a short peptide comprising from 0 to 30 amino acids; wherein said G-CSF dimer retains the biological activity of G-CSF and is produced by two G-CSF-Fc complexes, each of said G-CSF-Fc complexes comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 6 . |
